These General Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, games, services and applications operated by Shootz | Shootz IO | Shootz Game | Word Game LLC (referred to as “Shootz”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Site (including https://shootz.net and affiliated pages such as kids site), you agree to be bound by these Terms and to the privacy policy located at https://shootz.net/privacy (the Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.

1. Scope of Agreement

These Terms apply to all users of Shootz's family of sites and to all content provided on those sites, including but not limited to games, articles, images, videos, interactive features and downloadable materials (collectively, the “Content”). These Terms remain in effect for the duration of your use of the Site.

2. No Academic or Professional Guarantees

Shootz provides games and informational content for entertainment and general educational purposes only. We do not promise, warrant, or guarantee that use of Shootz’s Content will improve any academic grades, test scores, or professional outcomes. While we take steps to prevent malicious content, Shootz is not responsible for ads served by third parties, including ads that may contain malware or misdirect users. Certain games and other items on the Site may be created by third-party authors or provided under license. Shootz is not responsible for the professional content of those third-party creators; responsibility for such content rests with the author or licensor, unless otherwise stated.

10. Termination

We may, in our sole discretion and without notice, restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Site (or any portion thereof) for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease and any licenses granted herein will terminate.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SHOOTZ (NOR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS) BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED USD 100 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Shootz and its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, damages, loss, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your user content.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country in which Shootz is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued access or use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If a change is material, we may provide a more prominent notice.

16. Severability
